As a company recognized for your leadership in diversity, we would like to invite you to participate in
the Northern Virginia Urban League's (NOVAUL) 2008 Diversity Leadership Survey. We will use the results of
this survey to select the leading companies with outstanding diversity programs that have a presence in
Northern Virginia. These organizations will be honored at our 18th Annual Community Service &
Scholarship Awards Dinner being held on Friday,
April 4, 2008 at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. This
survey includes 31 questions and should take approximately 30-40 minutes
to complete.
The survey must be received by February 15, 2008.
If selected, your company will be featured in a press announcement, and
you will have an opportunity to
showcase your diversity leadership and community service with a video presentation along
with remarks from a top ranking company executive
at our awards dinner on April 4th.
The National Urban League Movement started 96 years
ago and has over 100 affiliates nationwide charged with
"Empowering Communities and Changing Lives."
Here in Northern Virginia we are celebrating our 18th year of providing
program services to African Americans, Latinos and other minorities.
We have reached hundreds of individuals and families with
training and employment services, first-time home ownership
counseling, college scholarships, mentoring initiatives, youth academic
and life skills programs, financial literacy workshops, and constituent advocacy.
